Christ’s humble servants
Eucharistic Visitors are Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who serve the Body of Christ by taking Communion to those members who, through sickness, old age, or other causes are prevented from taking part in the liturgy. The Eucharistic Visitor is a vital link between the parish community and those who are sick or homebound. They are models of humble service, recalling Christ Himself, who came to serve, not to be served.
Jesus said: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:24-35)
