Children’s Liturgy of the Word provides a liturgical experience of God’s presence in His Word for children between the ages of three and six. During Mass, the children are invited by the celebrant to approach the altar before the First Reading. They are blessed then escorted by the Faith Formation catechist to the parish center, where they listen, reflect and respond to the Gospel in an age-appropriate format. The children return to Mass to take part in the Offertory procession before returning to their families.
The Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place from September through May during the Sunday 10:00AM Mass.
